PIEDMONT, S.C. — The Piedmont community is grieving after a tragic crash Saturday evening claimed the life of 20-year-old Aubrey Jamal Holloway following a collision between a dirt bike and an SUV.

According to the Greenville County Coroner’s Office, the crash occurred just before 6 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Augusta Road and Grove Reserve Parkway. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene, where they found Holloway, the rider of the dirt bike, suffering from fatal injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The coroner’s office confirmed that an autopsy is scheduled for Monday to determine the official cause and manner of death.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Greenville County Coroner’s Office are jointly investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. No additional details have been released at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing.

As authorities work to piece together what led to the collision, hearts across Piedmont remain heavy with sorrow. Aubrey’s life was cut tragically short, leaving family, friends, and the community to mourn a sudden and profound loss.
