It is with profound sadness that we mourn the loss of Terrell Crosby, who tragically died following a head-on collision Saturday afternoon on Coosa River Parkway in Wetumpka, Alabama.

According to the Wetumpka Police Department, officers were dispatched to the scene at approximately 5:30 p.m. Saturday after reports of a serious crash. Police Chief Ed Reeves confirmed that the collision involved multiple vehicles and resulted in one fatality, two injuries, and one individual taken into custody. Terrell Crosby was pronounced deceased at the scene due to injuries sustained in the crash.

The two other individuals injured in the collision were transported to Baptist South for medical treatment. Their identities and conditions have not been released. Authorities have stated that the investigation remains ongoing, and further details surrounding the cause of the crash have not yet been made public.

The crash caused major traffic disruptions in the area. At the time of the incident, the Bibb Graves Bridge over the Coosa River was already closed for the Christmas on the Coosa parade, prompting officials to also shut down Coosa River Parkway. Motorists were forced to detour through Montgomery County while emergency crews worked the scene. Despite the severity of the incident, police were able to reopen the roadway as quickly as possible.

Beyond the headlines and investigation, Terrell’s death represents a heartbreaking loss of life. He was deeply loved, and his passing has left family, friends, and the community grieving a life taken far too soon.
