STRANG, Okla. — The community of Strang is grieving the tragic loss of 26-year-old Ana Stoops following a fatal crash on Tuesday afternoon. The Pryor Police Department reported that the collision occurred near the intersection of Highway 20 and Carbide Road around 3:06 p.m.
Authorities said Stoops was stopped at a stop sign on Carbide Road before entering the intersection when her vehicle was struck by another car traveling westbound on Highway 20. The impact caused severe injuries. Stoops was airlifted to a hospital in Tulsa, where she later died. Her sudden passing has left family, friends, and the community heartbroken.
The driver of the other vehicle, a 17-year-old, was also transported to a hospital and treated for minor injuries. Police confirmed that no other individuals were involved and said the crash remains under investigation as they work to determine the exact circumstances.
