The community of Frazee, Minnesota, is grieving following the heartbreaking and untimely death of Bryson Andrew May, a 19-year-old young man whose life was tragically cut short in a shooting early Saturday morning.
According to the Becker County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched around 2:38 a.m. to a reported disturbance at a residence located at 701 West Ash Avenue in Frazee. While deputies were on their way to the scene, authorities received an additional report indicating that shots had been fired inside the home.
During the disturbance, Bryson Andrew May was shot and seriously wounded. He was rushed to Essentia–St. Mary’s Hospital, where medical personnel worked to save his life. Despite those efforts, Bryson later died from his injuries, leaving his family, friends, and the wider community in deep sorrow.
Investigators said that four suspects fled the scene in a black SUV shortly after the shooting. The vehicle was located a short time later in Otter Tail County, just north of Perham. Authorities confirmed that all four suspects were detained for questioning as the investigation continued.
