VICKSBURG, Miss. — A deep sense of sorrow has settled over Vicksburg as the community mourns the tragic passing of Trevon Dee, 30, who lost his life in a fatal crash in Warren County.

According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, the incident occurred on Riley Road and involved a single vehicle believed to be a Dodge Ram pickup truck. The crash was discovered when the vehicle was found engulfed in flames. Troopers with MHP Troop C responded to the scene at approximately 10:23 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21. Investigators believe the crash happened sometime between midnight and 10 a.m., though the exact time remains unknown.

Mr. Dee, a Vicksburg resident, was identified as the sole victim. Due to the severity of the crash and fire, he did not survive his injuries. His sudden death has left family, friends, and loved ones struggling to cope with an unexpected and heartbreaking loss.

At just 30 years old, Trevon Dee’s life was cut tragically short. He is remembered not only for the years he lived, but for the impact he had on those around him. As condolences continue to pour in, the community stands together in grief, offering prayers and support to his family.
