NELSON COUNTY, Va. — A community is mourning the loss of Porsche Christinia Vaughn, 39, of Gladstone, who tragically lost her life in a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning.

According to Virginia State Police, the fatal crash occurred at approximately 12:40 a.m. on December 21, 2025, along Route 60 (Richmond Highway), about a half-mile east of Tye River Road in Nelson County. Vaughn was driving a 1999 Chrysler Town & Country eastbound when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.

Vaughn was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of her injuries. Authorities confirmed that she was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. No other vehicles were involved.

Virginia State Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash. At this time, no additional details have been released.

Porsche Christinia Vaughn’s passing has left family, friends, and loved ones grieving a life taken far too soon. She will be remembered by those who knew her, as the community comes together to mourn her loss and keep her loved ones in their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
