YAMHILL COUNTY, Ore. — The Dundee community is mourning the loss of Jackie Sue Williams, 33, who passed away early Thursday morning following a single-vehicle crash on Highway 99W in Yamhill County.
According to the Oregon State Police, the crash occurred at approximately 4:44 a.m. on December 18, 2025, near milepost 30.5. Preliminary findings indicate that Williams was driving a silver Toyota Camry northbound on Highway 99W and passing multiple vehicles when she lost control of the car. The vehicle left the roadway on the right side and struck several trees before coming to an uncontrolled stop.
Williams passed away at the scene.
A passenger in the vehicle, Skyler Wayne Goodwin, 29, of Waldport, also passed away at the scene.
Highway 99W was impacted for approximately three hours and 45 minutes as emergency crews and investigators worked at the scene. Traffic was restricted while authorities conducted their investigation and cleared the roadway.
The Oregon State Police were assisted by the Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office, Newberg-Dundee Police Department, Amity Fire Department, Lafayette Fire Department, McMinnville Fire Department, and the Oregon Department of Transportation.
Williams’ sudden passing has left loved ones and community members heartbroken as they remember her life. The crash remains under investigation, and no additional details have been released at this time.
